Job Summary
- Palisades Heating & Cooling has been a leader and household name in Fox Valley for over 40+ years. We are looking for qualified and experienced HVAC installers to join our team immediately. We work on a wide range of equipment from residential houses, businesses, and light commercial. We primarily service residential homes, though. Responsibilities and Duties
- As an experienced HVAC installer you will work in a wide range of settings including residential, light commercial, and similar structures but you will mostly be working on new and existing residential projects/homes.
- You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and/or service any equipment related to the normal equipment that you will find in a Wisconsin home. You will make educated decisions based on diagnostics you perform and/or installing new equipment per the job requirements.
- You must be willing to work from heights (typically ladders).
- Imperative that you are on-time, punctual, and reliable. Our customers depend on us and we need to depend on you.
- Ongoing education and willingness to learn and stay updated on new technology/training is also a requirement for this role.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5+ years MINIMUM for this role (required)
- Valid and current Wisconsin drivers license
- Must be willing/able to read and interpret blueprints for new construction projects
- Must have familiarity with current HVAC equipment
- Must possess good communication skills as you’ll be interacting with customers and colleagues on work sites
- Understanding of basic sheet metal skills is required
- Understanding of techniques related to air balancing, refrigerant, and other related items
- Must possess an EPA certification
